It's National Lasagna Day! I like to think of it as pasta cake! Look at all the layers! Congratulations to Tom Leonard's Farmers Market for winning the award as one of The Best Local Grocery Stores in Richmond !

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds Beef, ground, lean, (approximately 21% fat), raw
  • 1 Onions, raw 
  • 2 cloves Garlic, raw
  • 1 tablespoon Basil, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Spices, oregano, ground
  • 2 tablespoons Sugars, brown
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Salt, table
  • 1 (29 ounce) can Organic Diced Tomatoes-Cnd MG
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans Tomato products, canned, paste, with salt added
  • 12 GG Cut Semolina Lasagna Pasta-Dry-Cup QK
  • 2 Egg, whole, raw, fresh
  • 1 pint Cheese, ricotta, part skim milk
  • ½ cup Cheese, parmesan, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Spices, parsley, dried
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, table
  • 1 pound Cheese, mozzarella, part skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons Cheese, parmesan, grated
