Megan Luck

Megan is a local musician, influencer, and radio host who has been writing, recording, and performing since childhood. The last few years in particular have seen an uptake in performing at venues (notably: Flying Squirrels performance at the diamond, local farmers markets, Jolene Family Winery, a Richmond Animal League fundraising event, and more) and recording her own music. 

She began her radio career under the mentorship of Richmond’s own Kat Simons after graduating with a Bachelor’s in Commercial Music (live performance, music theory, entrepreneurship, social media, live and in studio production, music promotion, business, and sales), quickly gaining an on air shift on Mix 98.1 (Sundays 12pm-4pm) and is a cast member on air for MP On The Mic (Thursdays 10a-12p), a local Sports and pop culture talk show. She also fills on on the Morning Mix with Wicker and Wilde whenever an opportunity arises. In 2024, she began directing the Furry Friday program through Q94 and Mix 98.1, working with Richmond Animal League and Richmond SPCA to bring attention to animals in need of a home. This includes voicing, recording, and mixing weekly on air promos, writing website articles, and managing social media posts and weekly announcements to fellow radio hosts and coworkers. Megan is also one of the hosts of Richmond Perspectives, a weekly public affairs show airing on all seven of Audacy’s local stations (Mix 98.1, Q94, ALT102.1, 910 The Fan, Newsradio WRVA, Big 98.5, 106.5 The Beat) interviewing local nonprofits. Her spot airs one to two times a month. Besides this, she continues to manage her own media career on spaces like TikTok and Instagram, posting trends and updates about her career. She aspires to continue growing in both radio and the music industry, recording and releasing music and performing while expanding her on air shifts and appearing at live events.

When she isn’t on stage or on air, Megan loves K-dramas, coffee and boba, hanging with her husband, pets, and family, collecting Pokémon merch, learning languages/traveling (favorite place so far: Japan!) and playing Animal Crossing!
