If you have Googled “what would happen if aliens came to Earth," you are not alone. In the last few months, the search for those key words have skyrocketed by an astounding 2,850%! If there's an alien invasion in America, we're probably ALL doomed. Unless Hollywood writers are right, and the aliens are more like Alf . . . Roger from "American Dad" . . . and E.T.
But some of us may be in more danger than others.
Thankfully, some people with way too much time on their hands, just conducted a "study" to determine which state's citizens would be better off in an alien invasion, taking into account things like: The number of UFO sightings . . . landscape and terrain . . . defense . . . science and medical resources . . . plus food and beverage manufacturing.
In the end, Virginia had the best "alien survival score." Virginia got an impressive 8.03 score out of 10 on the alien survival index. The study points our our military presence — we boast the highest per capita force in the nation. Combine that with Virginia's natural defenses of a boat load of caves and 63% forest cover make the Commonwealth an ideal stronghold against threats from Aliens.
In case you were curious, Alabama was second . . . followed by Minnesota, Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Alaska, and Georgia.
