Milo Rocks the Arena

Milo has a pretty remarkable story—and it starts with something that might have ended another horse’s competitive career. Milo is blind. But instead of letting that stop him, he’s continued doing what he loves most: dressage. With the help of his rider and a whole lot of trust, Milo has learned to navigate the arena using cues, sound and an incredible connection with his rider.
And apparently, Milo didn’t get the memo that he was supposed to be at a disadvantage. He continues to compete against sighted horses—and continues to win. His performances are a testament to just how much horses can learn and how powerful the bond between horse and rider can be.
Milo’s story is about more than ribbons and trophies. It’s about adapting, trusting and refusing to let one obstacle define what’s possible. The blind horse who could have been counted out is still stepping into the arena, taking on the competition…and proving that sometimes, the biggest limitation is simply believing you can’t.
