SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Carver is a super sweet male pup who is such a joy to be with! He came to us from a NC shelter partner and we have no further history on him. This fellow is a low rider who will likely top out in the 30 pound range when fully grown. He loves people, and loves playing with toys! Carver is in the process of completing puppy vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped as a part of our adoption process. We are seeking a home without small children or larger animals, with people who are at home a good bit during each day to socialize and train, and with a private, fenced yard to add a layer of safety and security to play time. Carver loves everyone he meets and is sure to be a great addition to most any home!
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Petfinder inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
