Pup Curls Up for 13 Hours to Save His Human

Feel Good on the :50's

Wicker and Wilde

The instincts of an 8 month old dog named North saved the life of her Human who got injured while hiking in the Croatian mountains. Rebecca Wilde fell down a rabbit hole of animal videos and there isn’t a lick of English in the subtitles but she was riveted! Watch the video below!

Grga Brkic fell 500 feet down a snowy slope – the highest peak of this mountain range, btw – it’s considered ‘extremely inaccessible.” and Grga severely fractured his leg. The good thing is that 2 other hikers, although they weren’t able to help, saw this massive fall happen and were able to alert emergency mountaineers. But because of the terrain they weren’t able to get to Grga and North anytime quickly and it was falling dark.

Thankfully, the Alaskan malamute climbed on top of Grga and stayed there for 13 hours — keeping hypothermia at bay.

More than two dozen first responders arrived at the scene, where they found the dog had “curled around Grega to keep him warm.”

Rescuers, called it “one of the most difficult rescue operations” they had ever done.

In a Facebook post, the mountaineers shared a photo of the hero doggie who refused to leave Grga even as they put Grga on a helicopter. In English, rescuers wrote “Friendship and love between man and dog have no boundaries … From this example we can all learn about caring for one another.” Ain't that the truth.......
