This is an amazing solution for anyone who wants to help save lives and find forever homes for the pets we love. It's not always easy to physically foster; you may have other pets, no space or time, limited resources, (grumpy spouses) can all be limiting factors. The virtual foster program allows you to market Richmond Animal Care and Control's animals virtually to your friends, family, social media followers, etc. in an effort to find them forever homes!
RACC will email or text you adorable content (pictures and videos) of your foster pet to share! And if your network includes people outside of Richmond, RACC happily adopt outside of RVA (potential adopters must travel to racc to adopt) so feel free to get creative!
The goal here is to unleash (pun intended) all of your adorable content creativity, innovative marketing ideas, and harness the power of social media to help your virtual foster pet get adopted.
