Freeway - Richmond Animal Care & Control

Take a cruise with Freeway! This big ol' snugglebug was transferred into our care from another shelter back in December 2022. He has been with us for quite some time, but now is more than ready for a home of his very own! You see, Freeway has hyperthyroidism, which causes an overproduction of hormones by the thyroid gland. He has since undergone treatment for this condition, but will need a follow-up with our vet in the next several weeks to see how he's doing. On top of that, Freeway also tested positive for FIV. Cats with this condition typically live normal lives and can also coexist in a stable household with other cats. However, considering Freeway's medical history and age, this sweetheart just needs a kind person to love and that will continue to provide him with the TLC he needs.
