SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Parker is a beautiful low rider who is great with people, but not a fan of most other animals. He is quiet, clean (like housebroken) and loves to lay at your feet. We believe Parker would make an excellent choice for homes where he could be an only pet.
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Petfinder inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
