SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Peanut is a very nice dog who came to us recently from a NC shelter partner. He is thought to be somewhere around 9-10 years old, which while we are considering him a senior, chihuahuas are known to live 18-20 years in some cases! He is a quiet little fellow, and would be best suited to a quiet, predictable home. Peanut is in good health, but he does have a heart murmur. He has no issues currently and requires no medication or special care. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and he tested negative for heart worms. Our goal is to find a home for Peanut with an all adult family that does not have larger pets. He will make an excellent lap dog and is quite a couch potato!
