Hello! My name is Roxy, and I'm a female mixed breed born in November of 20xx.
My adoption fee is $175.
Hanover Humane will only be adopting me to a home in Hanover County, Virginia or a locality that is part of the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area.
I'm a sweet, shy girl who, once I'm comfortable, will play and have a good time. I also like my down time and will lay quietly on my bed and chew on my nylabone. I'm not that great on leash, so you'll have to work with me on that. I love to have my ears scratched, and I adore it when you kiss my forehead. My biggest vice is that I like to chew up my toys, bedding, and blankets. I even had to have surgery to remove a blockage from my intestines when I accidently ate part of my blanket. My new owner will have to be vigilant and make sure I don't get into anything like that that I can tear up. I'm fairly active, so Ill need either a nice yard to run around in, o an active owner who'll take me out on walks every day.
I've been neutered/spayed, am current on all of my vaccinations (DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies), tested for heartworms (and am negative) and put on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. My new owner will receive a month of free pet health insurance at adoption.
