My adoption fee is $175.
Hanover Humane will only be adopting me to a home in Hanover County, Virginia or a locality that is part of the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area.
I'm an adorable little plott hound mix. I can be a little shy initially with new people, but the staff and volunteers here at Hanover Humane have been working with me and I'm much more social. I love to go on walks and do well on a leash. I am very affectionate and love attention from people. I love to run zoomies in the play yard and play with toys. I don't do well with other dogs so my friends with Hanover Humane feel that I would do best as an only dog. Because I can be very dominant, I am not suitable for a home with small children.
I've been spayed, am current on all of my vaccinations (DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies), tested for heartworms (and am negative) and am on monthly heartworm preventative, and microchipped. My new owner will receive a month of free pet health insurance at adoption.
If you are interested in me, please submit an adoption application at www.hanoverhumanesociety.org. If the Adoptions Committee feels that you would be the right home for me, the Committee will contact you within 10 calendar days to arrange a meet-n-greet. If the Committee doesn't contact you within 10 calendar days, please assume that an alternate setting was chosen for me and that I won't be adopted to your home.
