Everyone knows how much Wicker & Wilde loooooove peanut butter so this is a big bummer. The FDA is issuing a voluntary recall for over 161-thousand pounds of Skippy Peanut Butter spreads due to potential foreign contamination.
Skippy Foods LLC is recalling 93-hundred cases of its Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter Spread, Reduced Fat Chunky Peanut Butter Spread, and Creamy Peanut Butter Blended With Plant Protein in 40-ounce and 16-point-three ounce jars.
The jars may contain pieces of metal that came off equipment during manufacturing and have best-by dates between May 4th, 2023, and May 10th, 2023. Customers are asked to return the product to the point of purchase for a refund or contact Skippy online at Peanut-Butter.com.
