Wicker and Wilde, the Morning Mix, knew Pharrell and Missy Elliott come from Virginia beach and love that Shaboozey is from NOVA. But what about RVA? Did you know that Shirley McLaine and her brother Warren Beatty were born in Richmond? And we were shocked to learn of some of these celebrities that come from RVA.
Axios, which brings us local news, has put together a fun list so that we can brag that we live in the city that gave us such celebrities as Constance Wu, who's famous for "Crazy Rich Asians" and Grammy-winning R&B crooner D'Angelo, who hails from South Richmond.
There are tons of others from producers, to sound experts and beyond. The beautiful Scottie Thompson is also from Richmond. There is also "I am Woman" singer Helen Reddy and so many more! All Rebecca did was Google "Celebrities from Richmond, VA" and THIS popped up.
