Get Ready for the Snow Moon (the next full moon)

Wicker and Wilde love full moons as much as you, especially when they are special moons (aren't they all special?). The Snow Moon is the next full moon coming this weekend, so named for the snow that usually comes this time of year. This particular moon will be a "Micromoon" which, as you can guess, is the opposite of a "Supermoon." It means that the moon is the farthest away from the earth as it can get......but it's still gonna be big to us tiny humans.

Usually a full moon can cause tension and makes us more anxious than normal because it's the end of the lunar cycle - a culmination of all the energy that's been building since the new moon. The end of something can cause a bit of apprehension but being that this moon is in Virgo may help since Virgo tense to ease things a bit.

Also, per usual, the Snow Moon falls under other names as well. The Native Americans have a variety of other names; the Cree call the February moon the Bald Eagle Moon and the Dakota call it the Raccoon.

The moon is at it's peak at 7:30am Saturday morning so you may want to try to catch a better glimpse in the dark, either the night before or Saturday evening. It will still look full at either time.
