We may not be one of the top earning states but still, that amount of money isn't anything to sneeze at, especially if you have the money to buy an extra house. One friend of Rebecca's rents a small apt. when her home is rented out and she still makes money! Woo!
An Airbnb host can make over $60,000 here in Virginia. Yep! The average annual pay for a host in Virginia is $61,581 a year and it's the best if you live in Richmond. That works out to be just under $30 bucks an hour! That is the equivalent of $1,184 a week or $5,131 per month. I'll tell you what, that certainly sounds tempting.....
And if you can swing buying a house somewhere else you may make even more.....these were the top earning states for Airbnb hosts in 2021:
