It’s been a hot minute since Selena Gomez released any new original music. Instead she's keeping herself occupied with Rare Beauty, making documentaries, philanthropic projects, obviously Only Murders in the Building, and other ventures.

That being said, it seems the time for waiting in nearly over. While there was no talk of a new album, with music on her brain, it is very possible that Gomez is in the beginning stages of working on a new project and what would be her follow-up to 2020’s Rare.
However for now, all Selena did say, is that she’s “not quite done with SG3” and announced that she’ll be blessing us with a new song called “SINGLE SOON,” arriving sooner than later, on August 25.
“Y’all have been asking for new music for a while,” she wrote in the caption, alongside the cover art and some behind-the-scenes pic. “Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer. ‘SINGLE SOON.’ August 25th. Presave it now.”
