The Powerball jackpot has climbed to more than half a billion dollars after there were no winners during Saturday night’s drawing.

As a result, the payout for Monday night’s drawing will soar to an estimated $522 million, with a cash option of $371.5 million.

No one has hit the Powerball jackpot since October 4 when a lottery player in California won nearly $700 million.

The record for the biggest Powerball jackpot was in 2016, when a lucky winner scored a massive prize of $1.5863 billion. Notably, a Mega Millions record was broken a year ago when an Oakland County lottery club claimed a jackpot that was worth just over $1 billion.

Tonight’s Powerball drawing is set for 11 p.m. Eastern.

However, there are four new millionaires out there from the latest drawings. Tickets sold in Arizona, California, Florida and Maryland matched all five white balls to win a second-tier prize. The ticket sold in Maryland also had the Powerplay to win $2 million.
