Jane Fonda got some super news recently.

The legendary actor and political activist shared that her cancer had gone into remission via a post on her website.
In the post titled “Best Birthday Present Ever,” Fonda wrote, “Last week I was told by my oncologist that my cancer is in remission and I can discontinue chemo.”
“I am feeling so blessed, so fortunate. I thank all of you who prayed and sent good thoughts my way. I am confident that it played a role in the good news,” she wrote.
Back in September Fonda revealed she had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and was undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
She recounted in the new blog post her first four sessions of chemotherapy were “rather easy” but the fifth was “rough.” The last session’s effects just recently wearing off enabling Fonda to do some public speaking.
“Thank heavens for that because it was a busy week. Besides the rally, I did some lobbying and spoke twice at the Democracy Alliance,” she wrote.
