The first being a recreation of a photo taken during the filming of Lindsay’s “The Parent Trap” remake from 1998 where the two are standing in front of London’s Big Ben. Lindsay holding a very young Dakota.
In the update, Dakota is now the one holding Lindsay! The siblings are all smiles as they once again have Big Ben as the backdrop for the image.
The refreshed photo is followed in the post’s carousel by the original, with the two as youngsters.
Lindsay captioned her post, “Now and Then. #TheParentTrap #bffs,” and added an emoji of two people holding hands. Dakota also posted the photos to his account as well.
The duo’s mother, Dina Lohan, commented on Lindsay’s post writing, “Full circle my angels,” and completed it with two red heart emojis. Many other fans in the comments were also feeling the nostalgic snaps with a number of “cute” and “beautiful” drops in there.
Lindsay’s debut on the big-screen was “The Parent Trap” where she played both twins, Hallie and Annie in the Disney movie. The twins attempt to get their mother (Natasha Richardson) and father (Dennis Quaid) to give their relationship another shot. Hijinx ensue.
Later this year Lindsay will be starring in the Netflix holiday movie “Falling for Christmas.”
