Henry Winkler meets up with Ron Howard for mini ‘Happy Days’ reunion

Henry Winkler and Ron Howard being in Australia at the same time made for an impromptu “Happy Days” reunion.

The two costarred in the popular ‘70s-‘80s sitcom together and were able to link up recently while Howard was filming his new movie “Eden” in Sydney while Winkler was promoting his new book “Being Henry: The Fonz…and Beyond.”

Winkler posted a photo of the happy duo on his Twitter profile.

"LIFE! As the WORLD turns ⁦@RealRonHoward came to my book event in Sydney Australia. SO exciting for everyone !!!!" he captioned the post.

Howard reposted his pal’s kind words and image with is own excited note.

“Just started post production in Sydney on my recently wrapped latest movie @edenthemovie starring an amazing cast. A great creative experience but that’s for another post,” he wrote. “When I touched base with Henry, I discovered he was making an appearance here in support of his excellent best-selling memoir #BeingHenry: The Fonz...and Beyond. Fantastic! We connected backstage and I watched him give a great speech to a huge crowd. What a blast!”

The two starred in “Happy Days” together on ABC, which ran for 11 seasons from 1974-1984. Howard left the show after its seventh season.
