The comedian recently shared a cute snap that shows her sitting on the ground of what looks like some play space, decked out in matching navy blue workout clothes, and beaming a huge smile, as her son Gene sits on a kiddie bike right next to her.

But even in this rare shot, as Entertainment Tonight noted, Schumer has placed a heart emoji right over Gene’s face.

The caption reveals the "Trainwreck" star is going through some heavy emotions as a new mom; though it also proves she hasn’t lost a lick of her funny sarcastic style.

“Being his mom is heaven on earth and also means a constant feeling of guilt and vulnerability I will never get used to,” she wrote. “Your heart feels like it’s outside your body and you’re too old to drink the feelings away like you used to. When you were in love and scared. Send help!!!”

It appears from the comments, most parental fans, celebrity or not, are right there with “The Humans” star.

“Yep, that’s exactly how it is and feels. It’s beautiful and terrifying,” said "Queer Eye" star Tan France. “All of this is true,” Jesse Tyler Ferguson added. And fellow mama America Ferrera simply wrote, “Amen.”

Schumer, 40, and her husband Chris Fischer, 41, welcomed Gene in 2019. In May of last year, in a post ostensibly about celebrating Gene’s birthday, Schumer used it as a lovely emotional nod to her husband.

"Today is our son’s birthday and I woke up emotional as hell thinking about my husband, Chris," Schumer said under a picture of her husband during her C-section.

"In this first photo while I was having a three hour C-section he held my hand and stared in my eyes so I never felt alone,” said Schumer. “I feel loved and supported always. He takes care of our family and is a husband and father beyond my wildest dreams."
