It’s been quite a couple of years for Amy Schumer.

In her most recent social media post, the actress and comedian stands strong and fabulous in a one-piece black bodysuit. But she's not on a beach or near a pool. Nope, instead she's hanging out in a gym room. Her summer attire is accessorized by matching sunglasses and pumps.

One glimpse at the photo caption, and it sounds like she's more than ready for some summer fun and relaxation.
“C section. Hysterectomy. Lipo. This summer is about letting the love in,” wrote the “Trainwreck” star. “Trying to be healthy and strong for myself and my family. I want to feel hot too. In my prime. Let’s go. Who’s with me?”
A lot of fans are with her, if the comments are any indication.
“You got this girl. Looking amazing already.” said one impressed fan.
Amidst a rain storm of fire emojis, more such praise rolled out. “You look fantastic,” “Get it momma!,” and simply, “yes!!!” summed up the general consensus that Schumer is winning at self-care.
Another fan also noticed the incongruent, if fetching, fashion mash-up. “Love this. Also, great workout style. Love the practical shoe choice.”
One admirer offered her own empathetic positivity to the "Life & Beth" star's sentiments: “Yes. I significantly underestimated the impact my c-section would have. Only 6 months postpartum but I am over it. I need to feel good again!!”
Schumer has not been shy about discussing her personal life.
On the “Informed Pregnancy” podcast, the “I Feel Pretty” star revealed that during the 2019 birth of her son Gene, the three hour C-section surgery involved her “throwing up through the first hour” due to her endometriosis – which ultimately led to having her uterus and appendix removed due to the condition.

Last month, in a sit down with Ellen Degeneres, she proved her sense of humor has carried her through her husband's autism diagnosis.
“He’s actually diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder,” she explained. “And what happens when you get diagnosed with autism is, it’s like, you know, a superpower…like, all of his behavior is excused now. If someone's telling a long, boring story, he will straight up just walk away. He'll just wander away, and I'm just still stuck there."
That cheeky humor continued with a beachy bathing suit post a few months ago that was her way of showing she underwent liposuction, which she talked about at more length on the "Making Space with Hoda” podcast.
"I was feeling bad because it’s such a privilege thing and you know people with money they also drive nice cars. So my nice car is that I had a liter of fat sucked out of my belly," she said. "I’m trying to keep it in perspective, I try to keep everything in perspective."
The phrase, “You go girl,” has never been so fitting.
