As previously reported, the outspoken “Trainwreck” star posted about her decision via an Instagram post featuring her new self in a black bathing suit.

And that was after revealing in December that she’d reversed an earlier treatment, as she had fillers removed from her cheeks.

And now in a new, expansive cover story interview for The Hollywood Reporter, she talks a little more about what led her to the surgeries, in her characteristically bluntly humorous manner of course.

"It's not about needing to be slamming, because I've never been famous for being hot,” she said, “but I'd reached a place where I was tired of looking at myself in the mirror.”

As she grabbed her stomach right above her C-section scar, she jokingly told the reporter that she realized she wasn’t going to fix it with just “grilled chicken and walks.”

As People reported, Schumer said in a recent Instagram story after the surgeries that she’s at about 170 pounds; and she says she has no regrets about the surgeries, or her uterus removal and a failed round of IVF.

“Everybody on camera is doing this s---,” said Schumer. “I just wanted to be real about it.”

She plans on working the whole experience into her new stand-up routine that she’ll start taking out on the road later this year. This, in the wake of a few film misfires (“Snatched,” “I Feel Pretty”) and getting new management.

She’ll be fit in some guest spots when she can – like in the upcoming season of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” – but Schumer is more interested in making her own projects.

As she told The Holywood Reporter, she’s currently pitching a film that she wants to star in and direct – “a big, dumb comedy about girlfriends.” It’s somewhat based on her love of the show, “The Bachelor.”

“I’m always watching that show,” said Schumer, “imagining, like, ‘What if I was just f***ing on there, just my body, in a bikini, next to the rest of the girls.”
