After taking a few years off from delivering us a much needed pop bop, Ariana Grande has officially announced the title and release date of her new song.

First teasing the track with her fashion choice, spotted around New York City wearing a black crewneck sweatshirt with white text that read: “yes, and?,” a couple days later Grande revealed on IG that would be the name of her new single.
“yes, and?,” set to drop Friday, January 12, is Ari’s official return to music and first solo song since 2020. “yes, and? ♡ 1.12,” Grande captioned the post of the song’s cover art, a blurry close-up of her face we’ve seen in stories before.
After sharing lots of recording studio clips with no sound in the last couple months of 2023, just ahead of the new year Ariana teased she’d had something planned for 2024. "See you next year,” she captioned a post with a series of pics and videos featuring a few more BTS studio sneak peeks.
Wasting now time at all, Ariana's delivering on her promise rather quickly. But hey, no complaints here.
While she’s been busy working on the big screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Wicked, we’ve got a few little musical treats with the anniversary of Yours Truly, and The Weeknd’s remixes of “Save Your Tears” and “Die for You.” However, we haven’t received any new music from the GRAMMY winner since she released her sixth album Positions in October 2020.
For now, that is all we know, but feel free to check back in for more deets, and meet us back here on Friday to obsess over what’s surely to be another bop from Ari.
