Beyoncé has already released two singles off the incoming project, the chart climbing “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages.” Showcasing her smooth vocals and Houston, Texas-bred twang on both tracks,"16 Carriages” has a more melodic ballad quality, while "Texas Hold ‘Em," the livelier of the two, is “a real-live boogie and a real live hoedown.”
Announcing the upcoming project’s title on her website, with an image of a horse saddle with a red, white and blue sash that reads “Country Carter,” Beyoncé also revealed a series of limited edition CDs and vinyl box sets that include "Cowboy Carter" tees, all of which you can pre-order HERE.
Ever since Bey announced that 2022’s dance and house music-filled Renaissance was just act i of a three-act project, fans had been eagerly anticipating what act ii would bring. After learning that it’s giving Country, the response has been rowdy, ready, and waiting for the album to drop.
