After a busy weekend trip to NYC with her boo Shawn Mendes to promote her new single “Don't Go Yet,” Camila returned to Los Angeles for a little R,R&PT (aka Rest, Relaxation & Pool Time, duh).
Our guess is that CC needed to step inside to cool off from that hot summer sun, and luckily for us decided to pucker up her lips and pose for the following snap while doing so. Not only that, but Camilla offered us a twofer, also sharing a closeup pic featuring half her face and a hella trendy hair and graphic eyeliner moment. Letting the photos speak for themselves, she captioned the post with simple kiss emoji.
The pool attire post comes after the past few weeks of Cabello preaching body positivity, including her TikTok video from earlier this month in which she defiantly said that “being at war with your body is so last season.”
After being snapped by the paps during a a hike with her mother in Beverly Hills, Camila filmed herself, reacting to the unexpected attention about her body. Saying, that she was simply “minding my own business” and “trying to be fit” during her run.
Cabello went on, pointing out that she was wearing an athletic crop top that exposed her stomach, which she “did not tuck into (her)leggings,” because she’s “a normal person who doesn't tuck (her stomach) in all the time,” noting that constantly worrying about her appearance can be exhausting.
“I reminded myself that being at war with your body is so last season,” Camila continued to confidently claim. Additionally saying she was “grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do,” and called herself a “real woman” with “curves, and cellulite and stretch marks and fat.”
Ending the video on a lighter note, Camila closed out her thoughts by singing Curtis Mayfield's classic “Something He Can Feel” while showing off her beautiful body.
