“I enjoyed my time at The Talk as co-host and moderator and I am grateful for the opportunity I had to grow with the entire Talk family as well as truly connect with viewers on such a personal level,” the famed choreographer said in a statement.
She continued, “I will miss The Talk, but I am excited for the next chapter both for myself and for the show.”’

Inaba replaced Julie Chen as a permanent co-host in January 2019. She has been on a leave of absence from the show since April.
Upon her leave of absence, Inaba said she was taking a break from the show to “focus on my well-being,” noting that “health is the most important thing."
While Inaba hasn’t disclosed specific details for leaving, she has openly discussed her struggles with Sjögren's Syndrome, fibromyalgia, Lupus and more, Fox News reports.
Her departure came a few weeks after the show made headlines for controversial comments made by Sharon Osborne regarding Pierce Morgan. Osborne engaged in a heated discussion with co-host Sheryl Underwood, which ignited an internal review by the network.
The show subsequently went on hiatus while CBS launched an investigation into Osbourne and Underwood’s tense discussion over Morgan’s controversial remarks about Meghan Markle.
"We are committed to a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace. All matters related to the Wednesday episode of 'The Talk' are currently under internal review," CBS said in a statement at the time.
“Carrie Ann’s authenticity and openness created a special connection and relationship with our audience,” Heather Gray and Kristin Matthews, executive producers of “The Talk” recently said in a joint statement.
“We will always be grateful for her contributions here at The Talk over the last 3 seasons. Her warmth, wisdom and vulnerability are just a few of her many admirable traits that will be missed. We wish her much success and good health going forward.”
Inaba confirmed that she will be returning for the upcoming season of "Dancing With the Stars," writing, "For now, let’s get the sequins shined up for @dancingabc Season 30!"
