Catherine Zeta-Jones’ daughter, Carys Zeta Douglas, just turned 18 — and mom couldn’t be prouder.
Zeta-Jones, 51, celebrated the milestone age with a loving post on Instagram on Tuesday. featured a pic of her with Carys as a young girl, as well as a more recent beach pic of her daughter, and an adorable screenshot of a mommy-daughter text exchange.
“Happy 18th Birthday Carys Zeta!” Zeta-Jones wrote to Carys, who she shares with husband, actor Michael Douglas.
The caption continued: “You are everything, and everything is you. Thank you for the joy you bring me. At 5 am this morning, you texted me to thank me, for giving birth to you. That’s the kind of woman you are. Kind.”
“Your wisdom out numbers your years,” the doting message went on. “You [sic] beauty is deep and your heart is big enough to love and envelop the world, your sense of humor......very important.... is insurmountable. I could go on. Your Japanese needs some work, but that’s doable. I love you angel. Mama.”

In the first pic of the post, the “Entrapment” actress posed with her baby girl at a young age. In the cute photo, Carys looks into the camera with a nonplussed expression while wearing an adorable pink dress.
The second photo of the Instagram post showed Carys all grown up, fiercely posing in a swimsuit fresh out of the water at the beach.
The final photo was the text exchange referenced by Zeta-Jones in her caption, in which Carys thanked her mom for giving birth to her.
“Thank you for giving birth to me!” the young woman’s text to mom read.
“Oh, giving birth to you was my proudest moment,” Zeta-Jones responded, before jokingly adding, “Wait……….. Oscars?” followed by, “No……… Definitely YOU 😂😂”
Douglas celebrated with a daddy-daughter pic of his own.
“Honey this is your Dad, wishing you the best 18th birthday any young lady could possibly have,” the “Wall Street” actor wrote.
He added: “You know how much I love you, how proud I am of you, and the joy I have watching you grow into the young lady you are turning out to be! Happy birthday Carys! I love you! Dad.”
In addition to Carys, Zeta-Jones and Douglas share a son, Dylan Michael Douglas, 20.
The stars were married in 2000.
