Coachella's "desert homecoming" is officially set for April 2022. Weekend one will take place April 15 through 17, 2022, while weekend two follows on April 22 through 24, 2022, the announcement from promoters GoldenVoice says. Advance ticket sales begin this Friday, June 4 at 1PM ET/10AM PT giving fans and travelers plenty of time to plan. It has also been announced that the Country-themed Stagecoach festival will follow the two Coachella weekends on April 29 through May 1, 2022. Originally set to take place in April 2020, Coachella was first moved to October 2020 then later postponed again to April 2021. In January 2021, California health officials pulled the plug on the festivals entirely, while reports claimed the events had been moved to October 2021. This new schedule will certainly ramp up the excitement for the return of live music worldwide amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
