Police say Foss, now 51-years-old, was last seen on September 7, 2021, and according to reports, it was Foss’ group home manager who had communicated her disappearance. Currently, it is unclear if Foss lived or worked at the group home.
Foss was one of the original members of the Goth-metal group after joining singer Dez Fafara, and guitarist Miguel Rascón in 1994, performing on their first three records, 1997’s Coal Chamber, and 1999’s Chamber Music, before leaving the band. She would return for 2002’s Dark Days, but immediately following Foss departed Coal Chamber again, this time for good, to set her attention on raising her then three-year-old daughter, Kayla Moray Rose, whom she shares with ex-husband Morgan Rose of Sevendust.
For those in the area, Foss is apparently 5’3 and weighs approximately 200 pounds, and no last known clothing description has been made available. The New Orleans police case is still pending. Anyone with additional information on Foss’ whereabouts is asked to contact New Orleans Police Department Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070.
