Drake keeps his Dad life pretty private for the most part, but sometimes, when he sees fit, he gets in a sharing mood. Lucky for us, his son Adonis’ 4th birthday this past weekend was such an occasion.
The theme was sports, of course, featuring a racing-themed cake and backdrop complete with the very on-brand phrase: “Adonis Races into 4.”
In a snapshot Drizzy shared on Instagram, the Certified Lover Dad and his not-so-baby boy are seen standing in front of the backdrop smiling from ear to ear, both throwing up an OK sign, with the caption “💖TEACHA💖 MORE LIFE KID.”
In another pic, this time black and white and taken in a trendy photo booth, Drake helped Adonis get into an adorable little Superman action pose, both unable to keep a smile off their face.
Offset, Summer Walker, and Fat Joe were among those who hopped into the comments to wish Adonis a happy birthday. Along with Nicki Minaj, who wrote, "Omg hi." In addition, J Balvin commented, "Felicidades !!!!!!!!" with an added a party popper emoji.
Drake also made sure to commemorate the occasion on his IG stories as well, giving fans a glimpse at the goings on inside the party, which included a visit from Bugs Bunny circa Space Jam: A New Legacy.
Adonis’ mama, Sophie Brussaux, also shared some party pics along with a few others in a loving birthday post to her adorable son, which she captioned with, “My life truly started 4 years ago mon petit Adonis ❤️ joyeux anniversaire.”
Adonis's fourth birthday party comes nearly five months after the curly-haired tot stole the show at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, where he joined his dad on stage as Drake was honored with the Artist of the Decade award. Joining his dad to accept the award, while Drizzy was giving his speech, Adonis had a moment and tried to scurry off stage with the trophy. And while he didn’t manage to steal the award (it was wayyyy too heavy) he did however manage to steal the show.
