"Mom pandemic guilt" is a real thing… just ask Eva Mendes.
The actress revealed that it’s that guilt that led to a silly picture, which she shared on her Instagram page on Friday.
The mom-of-two explained that she allowed one of her daughters to cut up a Maria Callas record cover so that she could stick her face in through the hole.
"My little girl wanted to cut out Maria Callas' face from the record cover," Mendes captioned the post.
"I quietly died a little inside but I quickly said yes,” she added.
Fans were very supportive calling Mendes a “wonderful mom.”
Another admired her daughter’s “phenomenal scissor skills.”
And while quarantine boredom can get the best of us, a third user pointed out that this will be a memory her daughter remembers “fondly when she’s older.”
Mendes gave fans a glimpse into another part of “motherhood” earlier in the week when she posted a pair of tweezers stabbed into a fresh tube of lipstick.
The 46-year-old initially took a break from acting and Hollywood to raise her daughters, Esmeralda Amada, 6, and Amada Lee, 4, whom she shares with Ryan Gosling.
However, she recently revealed that since the girls are older, she may consider getting back into the craft.
"I feel like, as far as my ambition, it didn’t go away, it just shifted onto the children," she explained.
While she “applauds” the “women who can do it all,” she revealed that she’s “not one of them.”
She continued: "And, thankfully, I have a choice not to work and I realize how fortunate I am that it's even a choice. I've been so happy to be able to incubate with my babies, but now they are four and six, I'm starting to feel like my ambition is coming back."
Could her comeback role be in a follow-up to her 2005 romcom “Hitch”?
Mendes previously admitted she thought it was time for a sequel with Will Smith!
