Johnson is set to release his autobiography The Lives Of Brian on October 25 as it’ll take fans from his early days growing up in Dunston, England all the way through his time fronting one of the world’s biggest bands in AC/DC.
“I’ve had some long nights and some great nights, bad days and a lot of good ones,” Johnson said in a tweet. “Now I’ve gone and written a bloody book about it… The Lives of Brian is coming this October.”
The book was initially announced in April 2021 as fans have been waiting patiently to get official confirmation of its release. A central point of the book will focus on the period where Johnson became the lead singer of AC/DC.
Following the tragic death of Bon Scott, Johnson was invited to London to audition for the band. After he was brought on, the group would record and release one of the great Rock albums of all time in Back In Black.
The book also shares intimate details about Johnson’s departure from the band in 2016 due to hearing loss. He ultimately wound up making a remarkable return in 2020 as the band released their latest album Power Up.
Johnson’s autobiography is available to preorder now.
