Skrillex has won numerous accolades in his young career having picked up multiple GRAMMY Awards already. Having collaborated with superstar musicians like Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Diplo, he’s been a top-selling artist for years at this point. While he doesn’t tour as often these days, he brought in a ton of money earlier in his career from his live performances.

9 Andrew Taggart - $80 Million

Taggart is the first half of The Chainsmokers that end up on this list (with the other not too far behind). The duo has been massively successful ever since they debuted in 2012 with countless number one singles and a relentless touring schedule. Taggart also owns several homes to make up an impressive real estate portfolio.

Bangalter is one half of Daft Punk, one of the most successful and influential electronic music outfits of all time. Aside from his work with Daft Punk, Bangalter owns his own music label and has been heavily involved in the world of film providing compositions and scores for numerous works.

We promise that this list includes artists that aren’t a part of a duo. You just have to be patient. As the other half of Daft Punk, Homem-Christo experienced massive success with the group. He’s also the founder and co-owner of his own record label.

Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia may have had a relatively short career (up until their recent reunion), but they became one of the biggest EDM acts in the world quite quickly. As one of the main acts to bring EDM to the forefront in the early 2010s, Swedish House Mafia earned a ton of money thanks to their live performances and rigorous touring schedule.

Steve Aoki is an accomplished DJ having worked with the likes of Linkin Park, BTS, Backstreet Boys, Iggy Azalea, Fall Out Boy, Blink-182, and many others. Aoki is also the founder of the massively successful record label Dim Mak Records, which puts out a variety of recordings from different genres.

David Guetta is one of the best-known DJs in the world as he’s also one of the best-selling artists. While Guetta has made his fortune through music sales and live performances, he vaulted up the list thanks to selling his recorded music catalog to Warner Music in June of 2021.

Tiësto has been a household name for years at this point as one of the most recognizable DJs on the planet. Throughout his career, he’s collaborated with numerous superstar artists and has performed on some of the biggest stages in the world.

1 Calvin Harris - $300 Million

Harris is the richest DJ by a wide margin. According to celebritynetworth.com, he brings in between $30-$40 million a year. Harris has collaborated with pretty much every superstar on the planet including Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Pharrell WIlliams, and more. In 2020, Harris sold his entire catalog to Vine Alternative Investments in a deal worth around $100 Million. He was also one of the initial stakeholders in the music streaming service Tidal.
