With countless hits, awards, and accolades, it got us wondering… What are the most watched Adele music videos? Adele’s music videos routinely gather tens of millions, hundreds of millions, and even billions of views. Needless to say, she’s pretty popular.

Celebrate Adele’s birthday by checking out the nine most watched Adele music videos of all time. When you’ve wrapped that up, continue the festivities by turning up Audacy’s Adele Radio where you’ll hear her biggest hits, deep cuts, and all the artists she’s inspired in her storied career.

9 Chasing Pavements - 178.8 Million

Baby Adele! The earliest Adele music video to appear on this list is “Chasing Pavements” from her debut studio album 19. The song was inspired by an incident Adele had with a former boyfriend after she found out he had cheated on her. She went to the bar he was at and punched him in the face. As she was walking home, she thought of the song’s hook, “what is it you’re chasing? You’re chasing an empty pavement.”

8 Easy On Me - 272.3 Million

“Easy On Me” marked Adele’s first new song in five years when she released it in October 2021. The song came from her most recent album 30 and immediately set numerous streaming records. The song has been out for just over half of a year and has a great chance of moving up a few spots by the time Adele’s next birthday rolls around.

7 Skyfall - 486.6 Million

Adele was tasked with creating the theme song for the 2012 James Bond film Skyfall and all she did was come up with one of the best-selling digital singles of all time. On top of that, the film marked the 50th anniversary since the very first James Bond movie was released. Adele took home the Academy Award for Best Original Song and won a GRAMMY for Best Song Written for Visual Media.

6 When We Were Young (Live at The Church Studios) - 628.7 Million

There aren’t many opportunities for fans to witness the power of Adele’s voice up close and personal, but this music video does just that. The video was shot at Church Studios as the first 45 seconds showcase a laid back atmosphere of Adele getting ready and banter between the band. The song itself comes from her third album 25.

5 Set Fire To The Rain (Live at The Royal Albert Hall) - 702.1 Million

The video is part of Adele’s concert film that was shot at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London. The live version of the 21 track saw Adele win a GRAMMY for Best Pop Solo Performance. Additionally, the performance was broadcast on television in South Africa, the U.K., France, and the United States.

4 Send My Love (To Your New Lover) - 801.9 Million

Coming from Adele’s third studio album 25, the music video for the song is remarkable as director Patrick Daughters noted that there weren’t any edits in it. In fact, there were only twelve takes done in total. The single went number one on three separate charts and peaked at the number eight position on the Billboard Hot 100.

3 Someone Like You - 1.8 Billion

With over 17 million copies sold since its release, “Someone Like You” is the fourth best-selling single of the 21st century. The megahit from Adele’s second album 21 won the first ever GRAMMY for Best Pop Solo Performance. It’s become one of Adele’s signature songs and is rightfully represented with over 1.8 billion views on YouTube.

2 Rolling in the Deep - 2 Billion

The very first single from Adele’s second album 21 was her most watched music video for quite some time (more on that in a second). The song spent an astonishing 65 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and spent seven straight weeks at the number one position. Certified 8X platinum since its release, the song won the prestigious Record of the Year and Song of the Year awards at the 2012 GRAMMYs.

1 Hello - 2.9 Billion

Adele said “Hello” to fans after a three year absence in 2015 and was rewarded with her most watched music video of all time. The song had over 27.7 million views within a 24-hour span and reached the one billion view mark in 87 days. The 25 track brought Adele Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance awards at the 2017 GRAMMY Awards.
