Earlier this month it was revealed that Green Day's Mike Dirnt, Tré Cool, and Billie Joe Armstrong had a new collab in the works, not a musical one per se, but a feature film based on their early days touring around in a van.

The project now in development is a new music/comedy flick co-starring The Office’s Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer with Fischer’s husband, Lee Kirk, tapped to help write and direct while the Green Day guys will serve as producers, along with Live Nation Productions.

Now, the production team is on the lookout (smirk) for some crusty extras to be in the film, with Oklahoma’s Freihofer Casting putting out a call for "punks, alts, hardcore, emo and rockers aged 18-30," to take part in a massive concert scene and more.

The shoot is set for February 24 through 27 in the Oklahoma City area, and those chosen will need to commit to four days of work and could receive a cool $101.50 per day "plus more" for their troubles. According to the casting company's listing, "One day will be a 'rain and mud fight' event" (Hello, Woodstock '94!), but promise that warming stations and blankets will be provided, as well as a $25 pay bump. "There will be live music, skateboarding and a rowdy good time," they add, however, hotel and travel accommodations are up to you.

As the New Years Rev story goes, three best buds, played by Mason ThamesKylr Coffman, and Ryan Foust, hit the road on a “rowdy, mischievous” adventure to Los Angeles under the mistaken belief they’ve been booked to open for Green Day at a New Year’s concert.

“Van days rule,” Green Day’s Billie Joe said in a statement announcing the film. “You will drive all night on no sleep then play a show for 10 kids in a basement of a friend of a friend’s house 50 miles east of anywhere you’ve ever heard of. But you’ll do it again the next day, and the one after that. Because you’re doing it with your bandmates who become your family and it’s unlike anything you’ve ever known. It’s electric. Let the music and mischief ensue.”
