Starting things off with the chart chat, the Billboard Hot 100 chart to be specific, which Keith noted Harry is dominating, with “As It Was” collecting its 12th week at No. 1. “The most weeks to top the list for any song in the 2020s decade,” the track has also officially been named Billboard’s Song of the Summer.

The duo go on to discuss a few more top tracks from the Hot 100 Chart, including Steve Lacey’s “Bad Habit” and the Britney Spears and Elton John collab “Hold Me Closer.” As well as listing a few Top 200 Chart tracks, before eventually moving on to talk about #SpitGate and all the other drama surrounding Harry’s new film Don’t Worry Darling.

Already surrounded by drama before arriving for its premiere and screening at the Venice Film Festival, the cast of Don’t Worry Darling we’re hit with media frenzy with all eyes on them, watching for body language, who stood next to who, and apparently spit.

“We’ve been talking about this movie for over a year,” Katie expressed, “but people got to actually see it for the first time and reviews are out and the huge red carpet premiere happened… a lot went down… and it was delightful to watch it unfold. Some of it was bizarre, the bizarre part I’m of course referencing, the conspiracy theory that Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine, his co-star in the film, while in the theater.” Otherwise known as #SpitGate.

While reps have spoken out denying it as a “complete fabrication,” many are surely convinced Harry did in fact spit on Chris. However, with the help of slo-mo video research, which you can find on every corner of the internet at this point, Keith & Katie air on the side of #SpitGate that is convinced of no malicious spit leaving Harry’s mouth.

“One of the takes that I saw about,” Katie offered, “was the Chris had like misplaced his sunglasses and then he like notices that ‘oh wait their in my seat in between my lap. And if you watch it that way, it looks like he’s just literally noticing his sunglasses are there.”

Adding, “there’s many innocent ways to look at this video, but Twitter doesn’t like innocent ways… they want to find the most ridiculous one.” As we always say, Twitter did, what Twitter do.

So naturally the weekend film premiere drama didn’t stop there. To hear all about what else went down plus more, listen to the entire episode above.
