We’d like to think Mike Shinoda’s signature move is to go into people's phones and change their name to his so that every time they open their phone it reads “Mike Shinoda.” While the fantasy of Mike Shinoda trolling people this way is certainly entertaining, it became a reality for FINNEAS.

FINNEAS shared a hilarious story on Twitter about how Mike Shinoda accidentally changed the name on his phone rather than saving himself as a new contact.

“I met Mike Shinoda once and he put his number in my phone but instead of making a new contact for 'Mike Shinoda,' he somehow managed to change MY OWN name in my phone to Mike Shinoda irrevocably. absolutely nothing I try fixes it,” he wrote.

Almost immediately, FINNEAS was met with hysterical responses to his tweet that incorporated lyrics from Linkin Park and Shinoda’s side project Fort Minor.

“Fixing it requires: ten percent luck, twenty percent skill, fifteen percent concentrated power of will, five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain, and a hundred percent reason to remember the name,” one user wrote referencing Fort Minor’s hit “Remember The Name.”

Others responded to FINNEAS saying “doesn’t even matter how hard you try” and “keep that in mind.”

All jokes aside the prospect of a FINNEAS and Mike Shinoda collaboration has gotten our attention and is worth keeping an eye on. In the meantime, FINNEAS may want to work on figuring out how to change the name on his phone.

Alternatively, he could just accept that he is now Mike Shinoda.
