Miley Cyrus was interviewed by British Vogue and revealed the next big name artist she wants to work with. “There are always new emerging artists that are super interesting,” Miley said.
“I love Billie Eilish. I think she’s just the coolest. I love her, her messaging. I’d love to work with her.”
The idea of a Miley/Billie collaboration isn’t far-fetched. Last year, Miley delivered a gorgeous, jazz-tinged cover of Billie’s single “my future.”
Miley added the cover to her setlist at a Los Angeles show following her debut of the song at a BBC Radio One event. Now that Miley’s put out her desire to work with Billie, it’ll be interesting to see if she continues to cover the song in an attempt to turn this collaboration into a reality.
Last week, Billie dropped a new track from her highly anticipated sophomore album Happier Than Ever when she shared “Lost Cause.”
Even though the album hasn’t been released yet, Eilish has already scored three top 10 singles as “my future,” “Therefore I Am,” and “Your Power” have all landed as Billboard Hot 100 hits.
Happier Than Ever is set to be released on July 30.
