Jamie Curtis is reflecting on her time working with Lindsay Lohan.
During a chat with PEOPLE (The TV Show!), the 63-year-old actress revealed that she is still in touch with her former co-star.
The actress came up when Curtis was asked if she saw Lohan’s Planet Fitness commercial, which aired during the Super Bowl in February.
Curtis said she watched the spot and was "happy that she's happy."
Curtis and Lohan played a mom-daughter duo that swap bodies in 2003’s “Freaky Friday.” The film had an impressive cast with Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Harold Gould, and Willie Garson.
The “Knives Out” star elaborated on Lohan’s “great talent" adding that it wasn't easy growing up in the spotlight. “And she's had a lot on her plate at a very young age. It seems like she is settling into a really happy domestic life — she's engaged," she said.

She continued: "We're in contact, and the fact that she can poke fun at herself a little [means] we can all poke fun at ourselves, believe me. Show business is very difficult, and being in front of the tabloid press is very difficult, it's really brutal. So God bless her."
Lohan announced her engagement to her partner of two years, Bader Shammas, back in November 2021.
The post included four casual, hoodie-donned shots of the couple giggling and smiling, one of which also featured Lohan’s ring.
The caption said simply, “My love. My life. My family. My future. #love”
Meanwhile, Curtis recently bid farewell to her iconic “Halloween” character after wrapping production on the latest sequel in the horror franchise.
She called the moment “bittersweet.”
