With the fawned-over reception of the HBO Max reunion special, near daily interview tales of its making, and even the news there’ll be a cruise, it’s been a “Friends” kind of summer so far. So much so, it seems we need doubles of them to satiate the habit.
Note TikTok-er Lisa Tranel, who, as Page Six reports, posted a video of herself miming lines from the 1997 “Friends” episode, “The One Where Chandler Can’t Remember Which Sister.”

Trollers are going crazy over Tranel’s resemblance to the famous Friends’ alum.
“I actually thought it was Jennifer Aniston, Wow!!,” wrote one fan. Said another, “Literally thought this Jennifer Anniston [sic], looks/voice and all.” One hilariously came up with a nickname for Tranel -- “Annifer Jenniston.”
Such was the rush of attention, that Tranel jumped on her Instagram to state her surprise:
“So, the last few days have been pretty crazy,” says Tranel. “I had a TikTok video that went viral because apparently because everyone thinks I look like Jennifer Aniston. It all kind of started as a joke and it kind of blew up.”
She continued, “For the record, I don’t really think I look like Jennifer Aniston and my family doesn’t either.”
Oh, come on!
Sure, maybe her stretched earlobe and tattooed look strays from Aniston’s style, but otherwise, Tranel is a near mirror image.
She’s even written “not Jennifer Aniston” in her TikTok bio. And, you know, she mimed a line from “Friends,” could she be any more coy?
Of course, the most reliable opinion would be from Jennifer Aniston herself, but so far she has not chimed in on the viral clip.
