The "Legally Blonde" and “The White Lotus” actress revealed that she would be interested in playing Melania Trump in a future biopic. In an interview with The Guardian, Coolidge was asked about playing the former first lady after social media users expressed how much the two women look alike.
“What a compliment. Where do I sign?” Coolidge said. “Between you and I, though, I’m sure Melania would be bummed.”
When asked about other acting roles she would like to do, the "American Pie" star said, “I’d love to go back to theater and do a serious play. And then the Melania biopic, of course.”

According to the New York Post, a video of the 51-year-old former model went viral during a 2018 interview where users said she looked like Coolidge due to her hairstyle.
Users on the site couldn’t believe how much the two looked alike.
“Melania Trump looks like she’s doing Jennifer Coolidge cosplay!” wrote one fan.
Another added, “I think Jennifer Coolidge could play a great role of Melania Trump lol!!!”
While a third joked, “I can’t believe they cast Jennifer Coolidge as the new Melania!”
