Jill Vedder posted a photo on her Instagram account of herself alongside her husband, Eddie Vedder, with a gorgeous backdrop of the water.
“Now this is living #mylove #JustTheTwoOfUs #bestlife,” she captioned her post.
The comments of Vedder’s post were filled with remarks on how great the couple look, as well as a couple of comments on Eddie’s mustache. One comment stood out though.
“I love your love. (The love you share. It reminds me so much of what I once had. You are truly blessed,)” Dana York Petty, the wife of the late Tom Petty wrote in a comment.
“You two were a great love story,” Vedder wrote in response to Petty’s comment. “His loss will always break my heart for you.”
An all-star lineup of musicians gathered back in October to celebrate what would have been the rock icon’s 70th birthday.
The virtual Tom Petty Birthday Bash featured performances, testimonials and tributes to Tom from friends and fans including Stevie Nicks, Chris Stapleton, Post Malone, Foo Fighters, The Killers, Norah Jones, The Raconteurs, Jason Isbell and many more.
