Martin Scorsese is set to direct a biopic about the Grateful Dead that will feature Jonah Hill playing the role of frontman Jerry Garcia.

“Though exact plot details haven’t been announced, the still-untitled film is expected to chronicle the band’s rise amid the ’60s psychedelic counterculture movement,” Variety writes.

The film is currently being developed at Apple and will see surviving members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann serve as producers on the film. Jerry Garcia’s daughter, Trixie Garcia, and former manager Bernie Cahill will also be producers on the film.

Scorsese and the Grateful Dead have worked together in the past as he served as an executive producer of the six-part docuseries about the band called Long Strange Trip.

No release date has been confirmed at this point.
