It was a double surprise on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" the other night.
Kimmel talked to "The Tender Bar" director George Clooney via virtual interview from Australia, but the chat was interrupted by none other than Julia Roberts.
Roberts rolled into the shot sporting stylish sunglasses and her hair pulled back as if she were undercover. Clooney appeared to be completely unaware of the surprise guest and famous A-list sitting right next to him.
"Oh my goodness, wow. Holy moly,” was all Kimmel could muster at first.
“George, I don’t know if you’re aware of this…” said Kimmel, “but there’s a woman sitting next to you.”

Clooney looks around and shakes his head as Roberts slowly slides away without any acknowledgment.
“Wow, maybe I hallucinated that?” Kimmel notes. “Wow, it sure looked like Julia Roberts though.”
Clooney, keeping the straight look on his face, simply responds: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, man.”

Even little Daniel Ranieri from Brooklyn – who first gained fame as a foul-mouthed guest on Kimmel and appears in the film – was speechless at the starry surprise. Though he later admitted that he never saw “Pretty Woman.”
People notes that Roberts and Clooney are friends and currently collaborating on the upcoming romantic comedy, "Ticket to Paradise,” with a 2022 anticipated release date.
