If we keep getting these gorgeous bikini photos of “aging” stars, we’re going to have to concede that “80 is the new 70.”
Yesterday in her Instagram post, actress and fitness buff, Kate Hudson, is lounging back, poolside, in a chic, off-the-shoulder, pastel blue bikini, fully showing off her ability to defy the usual images of the age 42.
In the caption she states, "Sometimes I feel that our minds love the change that summer brings, but our bodies... not always so much. I always remember, 'inside out inside out inside out!!!' And it’s all about gut and keeping your microbiome balanced. We got your back with @tobeinbloom, of course."
Yes, ostensibly, the shots are meant to promote her nutritional powder brand, In Bloom. There is indeed an appearance of an In Bloom sports bottle in the summery shot.
Singer Janelle Monae was so impressed, she added a flame and heart emoji underneath, which seemed to be the case with the many fan comments dropped under the pic.
In another recent IG clip, Hudson does some push-ups, saying below it, “Push ups Always challenging for me."
Needless to say, it doesn’t look too challenging for her as she does a few in form-fitting black leggings and white top.
But it’s not all body brag and nutrition powder pushing.
As Hello points out, Hudson has also been posting fun little vids, including a clip of her trying to make a sweet summer cocktail while also fending off her attention-starved kid -- one of three she has.
Yes, that woman in those pictures has had three children. Of course, some genetic pixie dust obviously runs in the family, as evidenced by some recent vacation pics with her mom, Goldie Hawn, 75.
So it’s apparent that while Kate Hudson has lately not been starring in a barrage of romantic comedies, as was the case with her initial late-2000s fame, she has most definitely been concentrating on fitness -- which she does admit in her frequent intense workout posts, is not easy.
But she sure makes it look that way.
