The 42-year-old announced the exciting news in a sweet Instagram post.
“Let’s go,” she captioned a photo of them atop a mountain.
She made sure to put the rock on full display as she playfully kissed her fiancé.
The couple has been together since December 2016.
They welcomed their first child together, daughter Rani Rose, in October 2018.
While this will be the first marriage for Fujikawa, Hudson was previously married to rocker Chris Robinson from 2000 until 2007. They share 17-year-old son Ryder Robinson.
The “Bride Wars” star also shares 10-year-old son Bingham Hawn Bellamy with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy. The couple split in 2014.
The actress and musician first met through Fujikawa’s stepsisters, Sara and Erin Foster, who are also good friends with Hudson.
“The first time I met Danny I was 23 and enormously pregnant with [eldest son] Ryder,” she revealed in an Instagram post celebrating their first anniversary. “His step sisters are my best friends [Sara Foster] and [Erin Foster] and so it goes we have been in the same circle for over a decade!”
After the announcement, the sisters couldn’t contain their excitement.
“Finally we are officially sisters!!” Erin commented.
Sara followed up, writing: “Whoa. It’s official . Not gonna lie, been a hard secret to keep. I may have slipped and told a few people.”
A chorus of congratulations have been pouring in via the comment section, including messages from Katie Couric, Amanda Kloots, Gwyneth Platrow, Octavia Spencer, and Courteney Cox.
