While we weren’t truly loving Machine Gun Kelly’s latest straggly shoulder length flaxen hair as of late, we definitely didn’t think he’d be so dramatic about it as to shave it all off. JK of course, for both, because of duh we loved his hair and obvi he didn’t shave it for us. Actually, Kelly explained the reasoning for his latest look on Twitter.

"i shaved my head for this @_ColeBennett_ 'papercuts' tomorrow 9pm," MGK tweeted along with screenshot of his FaceTime with the director himself. And though the snap was taken on MGK’s part so his face was subjected to the tinier rectangle, there was still no missing his geometric head tat we never knew existed.

The head ink reveal come one day after the rapper-turned-emo-rocker announced that he and his drummer boy bestie Travis Barker “we’re back for round two,” debuting their brand new forearm tattoos of their next collaborative album title, Born With Horns.
Doing this seems to be sort of a tradition for Kelly who also has the title of his 2019 album, Hotel Diablo, inked on the back of his head (yes, that one we knew about).
Travis and MGK, whose government name Colson Baker, previously worked together on Baker’s 2020 pop-punk album Tickets To My Downfall which Travis co-produced, helping the Alt Hip Hop act shift into the pop-punk sound, that you no doubt agree, he was definitely meant to do.
We didn’t know it at the time but last week, before Baker dropped the new album news and name, he teased us with the albums first single - yup you guessed it… “papercuts.”
Yeah, thanks to posts caption, we obviously knew something was coming, we just didn’t know how much. Let’s tally it up, a new single, an album announcement, new matching bestie tats, and a new look.
Well, so much for the “blonde don.” Unless… well as some fans are speculating, if the new do, or lack thereof, is actually real, with one fan writing, "don't lie we know it's a bald cap.”
Whatever the case may be, we’ll find out soon enough. OMG, almost forgot, what do we think Megan Fox’s reaction was to her boyfriend no longer having luscious locks? Or was it their twin flame that singed it off?
As for our thoughts on the matter, not that you asked, but while we were digging the surfer boy vibes we’re not mad at Kelly’s new look. It’s actually kind of annoying, but the boy can pull pretty much anything off.
