This engagement is so fetch.
Jonathan Bennett, 39, who played Aaron Samuels in the hit movie “Mean Girls,” said yes after his boyfriend, Jaymes Vaughan, asked to marry him.
Vaughan, the TV host and main anchor for “Celebrity Page,” got down on one knee and serenaded his now fiancé with a song in an emotional moment shared by Bennett with PEOPLE.
"I love how I can be unapologetically myself and I love that he loves me unconditionally for it," Bennett told the outlet.
Bennett shared the news with his Instagram followers in a series of photos Monday night.
“I said yes! And ugly cried like a crazy person," Bennett captioned the touching photos. "So excited to to share this moment, from the custom rings he had made for us with @kayjewelers to the song he wrote and sang for me. Can’t wait to show you the video this week. But for right now just this moment of joy. #engaged #sponsored.”
Vaughan, shared a similar post to his page, adding, “Y’all I really am the luckiest man alive. I can’t even fully process it yet. WE’RE ENGAGED!”
“I can’t wait to get married!” Bennett explained to PEOPLE.
“What we have is really special. It’s the thing people make movies about or, I guess in this case, write songs about. I think we’ve both known since the day we met on set of Jaymes’s show that we were going to be each other’s person,” he gushed to the outlet.
“It feels like family with him. I feel like there’s nothing in the world we can’t accomplish when we are together,” he added.
Vaughn said, "I’ve been dreaming about proposing to Jonathan for a long time, I wanted to make sure somebody was capturing it all so I could see his face in that moment over and over again."
The couple mentioned that a video with more details on the relationship will be released later this week.
Bennett stared in the hit movie "Mean Girls" in 2004 alongside Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Tina Fey.
